HUE welcomed Delegation of Brock University, Canada

On June 18th, the heads from both School of Educational Science and International Office welcomed a 3-member delegation led by Dr. Michael Owen, Dean for Faculty of Education, Brock University, Canada, in Meeting Room 4 of the Administration Building.



The two sides fully exchanged views of common interest on programs like joint internship of future teacher candidates, teacher and student exchange, teaching pedagogy training, joint course development&scientific research, co-holding international academic conferences, visiting scholar dispatchment, application of Sino-foreign Joint Education Program. It was an identical agreement that both schools have a bright potential for in-depth exchange and cooperation in line with the sound foundation of talent cultivation, similar undergraduate program pool and development path in the field of teaching and research.



After the meeting, Ms. Zhang Hongmei, Dean of Educational Science and Dr. Owen signed the Letter of Intent for Exchange and Cooperation. Following the meeting, the delegation visited Center of Competency-based Training for Teachers. In the end, the visit was successfully concluded with Dr. Mary-Louise Vanderlee's academic lecture on “Stress, Three Brains and Education: Implications for Practice” in the afternoon.
